What guides the work
A shared mission becomes more tangible in how colleagues and community-facing teams communicate. CANDOR begins with facts, feelings, and needs, then connects a clear request to its purpose. Care includes listening across roles, making room for disagreement, and setting useful boundaries.
How we design it
Practice with real or hypothetical public-service situations, including requests, feedback, and recognition. Explore the values beneath a concern, check what the other person understands, and rehearse a response. Written reflection and conversation offer different ways to participate.
What progress looks like
Clearer requests across roles, more specific recognition, and more choice in difficult moments. We connect progress to how staff listen, make commitments, and explain the outcomes their work supports.
Ways to work together
CANDOR workshops and team working sessions.
Next step
Start with the situation your people are working through. Together, we can identify a useful scope and a way to put the learning into practice.
